Daisy Carolina Slabbert (ABN 72286047712) trading as Carla Slabbert (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates this website and online store (the “Services”). We ship orders within Australia and internationally using Australia Post and its international postal partners.

This Shipping Policy outlines how orders are processed, produced, shipped and delivered.


1. Order Processing & Production

Because each artwork is produced with exceptional care and quality, many prints are made to order rather than held in large quantities of stock.

All giclée and canvas prints are professionally produced in Perth, Western Australia, by a professional fine art print studio to ensure the highest archival standards, colour accuracy, and craftsmanship.

Please allow 5–10 business days for production before your order is shipped.

Please note:

  • Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding Western Australian public holidays.

  • During peak periods, production times may occasionally be extended.

  • Custom, commissioned or limited edition artworks may require additional production time.

Once your order has been completed and prepared for shipment, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.


2. Shipping Methods

We ship using services provided by Australia Post, including:

  • Standard Parcel Post (Australia)

  • International Standard

Shipping options available at checkout will depend on your location.

All parcels include tracking where available.


3. Shipping Costs

Domestic (Australia): Free standard shipping on all orders. 

International: AUD $50.00 flat rate standard shipping.

International shipping costs do not include customs duties, taxes or import fees.


4. Delivery Timeframes

The following delivery estimates apply after production has been completed and the order has been dispatched.

Within Australia

Standard Post: 5–8 business days

International

International Standard: 6–27+ business days

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Delays may occur due to:

  • Customs clearance procedures

  • Local postal service disruptions

  • Weather events

  • Peak seasonal demand

  • Events beyond our reasonable control

We are not liable for carrier delays once the parcel has been dispatched.


5. Customs, Duties and Import Taxes (International Orders)

International customers are responsible for:

  • Import duties

  • Customs taxes

  • VAT or GST (if applicable in the destination country)

  • Customs clearance fees

These charges are determined by the destination country and are not controlled by us.

Failure to pay customs charges may result in the parcel being returned or destroyed. In such cases, original shipping costs are non-refundable.


6. Risk and Delivery

Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery to the address provided at checkout.

It is your responsibility to ensure the shipping address is accurate and secure.

If a parcel is marked as delivered by the carrier but you have not received it, you must contact us within 7 days so we can initiate an inquiry with Australia Post.


7. Lost or Damaged Parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged:

  • Please retain all packaging

  • Contact us within 72 hours

  • Provide photographs of the damage

We will assess the issue and may:

  • Arrange a replacement

  • Offer a repair (if applicable)

  • Provide a refund where required under Australian Consumer Law

If a parcel is confirmed lost by Australia Post, we will arrange a replacement or refund.


8. Incorrect Address or Failed Delivery

If an order is returned due to:

  • Incorrect address

  • Failure to collect from postal outlet

  • Rejected delivery

The customer is responsible for re-shipping costs.


9. Remote or Restricted Locations

Delivery to remote or regional areas may take longer than estimated timeframes.

Certain countries may have shipping restrictions on artworks, printed materials or wooden framing materials. Customers are responsible for ensuring products comply with local import regulations.


10. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, industrial action, border closures, or government restrictions.
